Someone said he tossed
His plaster cat
Out a tenth floor window
To see if it would land
On its feet. It did,
And in so doing dug
A cavity
In a policeman's head.
The cop is dead,
The cat's in stir,
Charged with diving
Under the influence
Of gravity,
And without a purrmit.
